I am really happy with this purchase and it looks great, but if I had to say 2 bad things about it, it would be that is on the "big" side and could be made a little sturdier.
The bag does it's job, plenty of pockets inside and one on the outside, nice light stripped lining inside so you can see where everything is. It also comes with a longer strap. However it is bigger than I thought and so I will end up putting more "junk" in there than I would like. Also a little on the flimsy side. I like my bags to be harder on the outside so that is stands up on its own.

Like many women I will never have the means to purchase a Birkin bag which this is obviously styled after. But I was not expecting fabric instead of faux leather. While the style is what I am forever and unsuccessfully shopping for the fabric choice is not. It has a very odd feeling to it, not fake leather, and not fabric almost kind of sticky. I would not recommend at all.

I ordered the eggplant color of this bag. It is on the large size which is fashionable now. Very chic and the leather has a nice feeling. For those that leave a negative comment about the leather, this is a $60 bag and for what you pay you get a very nice product. Inside lining of the bag is nice and not cheap looking at all.

I got this as a surprise birthday gift from my husband. I love the look of the firkin (faux birkin) It seems sturdy, but Im sure not to overload it as I know the handles will show wear if I dont take care of it, as I know this by experience with other purses.
My one and only complaint, and the reason for the one star deduction is this: Stinky. It has been unseasonably raining in Philly lately, and my bag has gotten wet (not soaked, but rained on) a couple of times, and it has gotten this funk about it. I took out all the contents of the bag & febreezed the bejesus out of the lining and wiped down the outside with some leather wipes. It is still stinky, so I sprayed some Stella Nude into it & put it into a oversized ziplock bag overnight. It is definitely less stinky, but not 100% gone. Weird, I know--but unavoidable unless you treat yr firkin like a quasi-gremlin and avoid getting it wet at all costs. (I havent given it food after midnight, so i dont know if that will affect it at all)

I have been looking everywhere for a bag that looks similar to a Birkin without paying the Birkin price and this bag is exactly that. I ordered the eggplant and I love it! For $60 the material is very nice and it is well made.
